My academic future
Take a postgraduate
course has always been within my options to do in the future. I would like do a
postgraduate or degree in economic journalism or political communication.
The first
one, interests me because I do not know much about that topic. As a journalist,
the economy is a theme that always is surrounding us and it is part of our job make
“this world” incomprehensible to citizens, easier to understand. However, many
journalists do not know about economy or they do not give the job of
investigate it, so they end up making mistakes when give some important
information to the population.
The second
topic is an area that I like a lot and I find very interesting. The political
world is closely related to the economic sector of a country, so, studying both
subjects would be much better for me. I think that it will always be necessary
for a healthy society know the relations between politics and businessmen.
I also
believe that both topics need have a very local context to be studied, so, I
would like take these postgraduate courses within the country, although if
there is the possibility of traveling abroad, welcome!
As I have said
before, in these postgraduate courses you need talk about the national reality
and explain how work this worlds, so it would not be very appropriate for me study
at distance or in a no-presential system. I would like to choose a face-to-face
study system with classes in the afternoon and a flexible class schedule.
Until now,
I know that the University of Chile offers this alternative and the guides that
I have read about academic content and teachers I find interesting. But if I
have the possibility of going abroad I would like to go to Spain, France, USA
or Argentina because they have good journalism schools.

Both songs sound difficult to learn, actually boring. However, they are issues that we must manage as journalists ... they say that knowing makes us free.
ResponderEliminarBoth topics for the most of people (or I think so) are so boring, so it is great that you are interested in this. We need more people to know about this things for the same reason that you were saying, to make easier to understand for the population :)
ResponderEliminarFor me, these themes are difficult and interesting but they are definitely not my favorites, hahaha, I would not take that kind of courses.
